Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced automotive service technician to join our team in Golden, BC. You will diagnose, repair and maintain commercial transport truck systems, perform inspections and road tests.

The position requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Frequent travel is required. Steel-toed safety boots and other PPE are provided, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive/truck repair.
• Experience with truck/trailer systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Inspect motor in operation
• Road test motor vehicles
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
• Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Test and adjust units to specifications
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
