Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Canada seeks a Mechanic - Level 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and power generators.

You will work with a safety-focused team, develop skills across makes and models, and pursue a career track in service or operations management; a high school diploma is required, with 1–3 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

Our fleet varies by location but primarily include Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment.
