Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Ontario, Canada, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Millwright for night shift (11pm–7:30am) at our manufacturing site. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, utilizing machining tools and welding skills, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

• Perform inspections, PM and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Operate and maintain shop tools and welding equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Night shift position - 11pm to 7:30am.
• Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, performing a variety of maintenance services.
• Analyze mechanical problems; provide quick and innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills, diagnosing problems and carrying out the repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance WO on all production equipment’s in an acceptable time frame.
• Other specific duties might be included.

Requirements

• Minimum grade 12 High School Diploma with valid Canadian Industrial Millwright License.
• Minimum 3-5 year experience working as Industrial Maintenance Millwright in Manufacturing.
• Experience with machining shop tools, Stick Welding and Oxyacetylene torch.
• Must be able to work efficiently in resolving urgent issues.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, EMaint database system an asset).
• Dairy processing experience an asset.
• Work independently or in team with little to no supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must also be familiar with WHMIS, GMP's and good health and safety work practices.
• Must have a positive "Can Do Attitude" and customer focus.
• Able to work various shifts.
