Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is hiring a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of equipment including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and power generators.

You will work with a safety-focused team to minimize downtime and improve fleet reliability. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and may bring trade training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desirable.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely to minimize downtime and ensure reliability of fleet.
• Handle different equipment types including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC, and power generators.
