Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on our diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC equipment. You will work on various makes and models, applying your hydraulic and electrical system expertise in a safety-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience or related specialty lines, and willingness to provide required tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty equipment strongly preferred.
• May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment.
• Operate in a safety-focused environment and adhere to procedures.
