Ce poste de mécanicien/technicien consiste à effectuer la maintenance préventive, à réaliser des diagnostics et à réparer les équipements de la manière la plus sûre et la plus efficace possible afin d’éviter les temps d’arrêt. Notre parc d’engins varie selon les sites, mais comprend principalement des nacelles élévatrices, ainsi que des outils et équipements de construction générale. Nos sites spécialisés peuvent disposer d’un parc de groupes électrogènes de grande puissance, de pompes, de systèmes CVC et d’équipements liés au secteur pétrolier et gazier.

Formation ou expérience requise pour réussir :

Baccalauréat ou GED obligatoire ; une formation en école professionnelle ou équivalente est souhaitée 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en mécanique sur des équipements diesel similaires et/ou des engins de chantier, ou des équipements de nos gammes spécialisées (générateurs de grande puissance, pompes, systèmes CVC ou équipements pétroliers et gaziers) fortement appréciés

Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes requises :

• Peut être amené à fournir ses propres outils de mécanicien.
• Connaissances approfondies des systèmes hydrauliques et compétences en dépannage.
• Connaissances approfondies des systèmes électriques et compétences en dépannage.
• Capacité à s’adapter à l’évolution des priorités dans un environnement au rythme soutenu.
• La maîtrise d’une deuxième langue (espagnol ou autre) peut être requise en fonction des besoins du site.

This mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, perform diagnostics and make repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily include Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Our specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Base Pay Range - Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
