As a technician on the field (CES - Customer Equipment Solutions) team at United Rentals, you will leverage your skills to perform maintenance and repair of complex equipment safely and professionally, with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a wide range of tools and equipment, demonstrating independence in judgment.
2. Visit customer sites to repair or maintain their equipment, ensuring the service vehicle is clean and presentable.
3. Assist in training junior technicians as needed.
4. Keep detailed records of work performed daily, including electronic documentation and work orders.
5. Participate in equipment and parts pickup and delivery.
6. Perform additional duties as required based on operational needs.

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
3. Over five years of experience in equipment repair or maintenance.
4. Advanced mechanical skills and practical knowledge of tools.
5. Deep understanding of construction equipment, schematics, and diagrams.
6. Own the necessary tools for the position.
7. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
8. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 kg (45 lbs) regularly.
