Meat Portion Cutter - Retail or Wholesale

Part Time / Full Time

Responsibilities:

1. Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
2. Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
3. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
4. Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
5. Wrap and package prepared meats
6. Remove bones from meat
7. Weigh meats for sale
8. Cut poultry into parts
9. Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
10. Sell meats to customers
11. Grind meats
12. Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
13. Adhere to Halal standards

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

• Band saw
• Manual cutting utensils
• Salami mixer and cooker
• Slicing machine

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant experience or specialized environmental skills and knowledge
