Meat Department Clerk

Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District

Salary Or Wage: $17.40 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

List of Requirements

• Able to lift over 40lbs regularly
• Must have or be willing to obtain FoodSafe
• Must be a forward thinker/able to plan
• Able to follow instructions and work quickly
• Must be reliable
• No experience needed, will train the right person
• Position is not suitable for students due to the hours

List of Duties

• Cutting meat and making sausage
• Controlling shrink and building sales programs
• Working in a clean and safe manner
• Part time to start – could become full time for the right person
• Wage is $17.40 to start; a consistent hard worker could move up relatively quickly
