Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain department organization, keep the meat department clean, organized, and properly zoned; rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure all merchandise is signed and priced correctly; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, and labeling.
• Follow food safety and cold chain practices, including temperature checks and proper handling.
• Prepare and serve deli items (meat, cheese, fried chicken) using slicers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
