Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Meat Associate in Saskatoon to deliver outstanding customer service, keep the meat department clean and stocked, and support daily sales activities.

You will rotate stock, ensure accurate pricing, follow food safety standards, and prepare deli items using slicers and fryers. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum hourly rate starting at 16.15 CAD.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards, keep the department clean, organized, and customer-ready.
• Rotate stock regularly and remove expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signing; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, pricing, and labeling.
• Follow food safety and cold chain practices; temperature checks, proper handling, rotation, sell-by and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and serve deli products; take custom orders and use kitchen equipment safely.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Be flexible with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Manage overnight hours and plan ahead to maintain energy and focus.
• Handle a fast-paced workload with efficient restocking and recovery.
