Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. is seeking a Meat Production team member to support high-quality product preparation for our retail stores, ensuring strict food safety standards and outstanding service to customers and suppliers.

You will work in a central meat production facility, performing cutting and trimming, assisting with inventory and packaging orders, and contributing to continuous improvements. A related post-secondary program and 3 years of cutting experience are preferred, with a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Completion of a related post-secondary program is typically required.
• Minimum of 3 years of cutting experience in a high-volume meat department or meat production operation.
• Superior sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented approach; collaborative work style.
• Detail-oriented execution of daily tasks.
• Willingness to follow company policies with minimal supervision.
• Dependable with a history of reliable performance.
• Ability to make sound decisions and implement initiatives timely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures for Central Meat Production operations.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation per government regulations and Farm Boy policies.
• Uphold Health & Safety practices to optimize efficiency and safety.
• Support team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of the Central Meat Production facility.
• Produce and prepare fresh meat items including cutting and trimming.
• Assist in product distribution to retail outlets.
• Assist management with inventory, packaging orders, and other tasks as needed.
• May undertake additional related duties as required.
