Job summary

Metro is seeking a Meat Cutter for a part-time, permanent position in our groceries team. You will cut meat to the highest quality standards and deliver friendly service to customers in a unionized environment.

Applicants should have prior meat cutting experience, knowledge of meat products and merchandising, strong customer service skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Flexibility for shifts including nights and weekends is required.

This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit. The hourly wage for this position starts at $17.60 - $26.35 and is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role, whether starting or higher, will fall within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.
