Meat Cutter - Meat Packing Plant

Job Details

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Responsibilities

• Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging.
• Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use.
• Remove bones from meat.
• Slice cooked meats.
• Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood.
• Grind meats.
• Cut poultry into parts.
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.

Workplace Information

• Location: Etobicoke, ON
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
• Salary: $21.00 per hour, 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
• Hours: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Morning
• Starts as soon as possible
