Job summary

Haveli Bistro in Surrey, BC, seeks a dedicated Meat Cutter/Prep Cook for on-site work. You will clean and cut meats, prepare special cuts, trim bones, and ready seafood while maintaining high hygiene standards.

The role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, secondary school graduation, and strong hand-eye coordination. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen and support other kitchen tasks as needed. Experience with poultry and fish preparation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in Meat processing or related field.
• Food safety and sanitation awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• Remove bones from meat.
• Cut poultry into parts.
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• Grind meats.
• Slice cooked meats.
• Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood.
