Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Meat Clerk for our Bridgwater location in Winnipeg, MB. Open availability is preferred with shifts starting as early as 7:00am; part-time schedule typically 24-32 hours per week.

You will greet customers, operate the cash register, share product knowledge, ensure fresh meats are well stocked and presented, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while providing a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Retail customer service experience considered an asset.
• Willingness to go the extra mile with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Going the extra mile for customers and team members.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions.
• Share product knowledge with customers.
• Ensure the department is well stocked and presented.
• Display fresh and high-quality meat products.
• Address customer inquiries and provide a positive experience.
• Clean equipment and work areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Use equipment including knives safely and efficiently.

We are hiring for a Meat Clerk at our Bridgwater location in Winnipeg, MB.

Responsibilities

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
