Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Winnipeg, MB is hiring a Meat Clerk for Pembina location to support daily operations in a busy grocery department. You will assist customers, cashier, stock meat products, maintain department presentation, and ensure fresh, quality selections.

This part-time role offers Friday pay, team discounts, benefits eligibility, and opportunities to learn and grow within a welcoming, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail customer service is preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Reliable, friendly team player with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and answer questions to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions efficiently.
• Stock and present meat products, ensuring freshness and proper labeling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department workspace.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and handle knives and equipment properly.

We are hiring for a Meat Clerk at our Pembina location in Winnipeg, MB.

Open availability is preferred.

12-20 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
