Job summary

Safeway Canada is seeking a Meat Department Supervisor to support daily operations under the Meat Department Manager, and to deliver outstanding service to our customers. You will coach staff to provide superior meat cuts and assist with training.

The role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication, a high school diploma, and a minimum of 12 months of meat retail experience. Availability for days, evenings, and weekends is expected.

As the ideal candidate, you will have excellent communication and organizational skills. You will demonstrate outstanding customer service while you coach staff to provide superior cuts of meat. With the support of the Department Manager, you will utilize your leadership skills to assist with training employees.
