Job summary

Magellan Aerospace in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineering Planner to join our manufacturing hub. You will help introduce new components and technologies into production, and develop processes to ensure cost-effective, high-quality products.

Responsibilities include creating detailed process instructions, coordinating with internal and external contacts on tooling and scheduling, and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

• Investigating and dispositioning non-conformances
• Providing shop floor liaison for resolution of technical matters.

• Introducing new components and technologies into production in support of cost-effective, high-quality products
• Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, and preparing detailed process instructions to define the manufacturing processes
