Job Title: MCASPHALT | Sales Representative

Status: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: *REMOTE* Anywhere in Saskatchewan | Main Office: Regina Facility – 600 Arcola Avenue, Regina, SK, S4N 0S5

Reporting to: Sales Manager – Western Region

Position Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for the sales and marketing activities in a specific market territory and/or product group. This position will promote and create demand for new and existing products to user agencies.\

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Sales And Marketing Responsibilities

  • Relationship development of the existing McAsphalt customer base and the development of new accounts;
  • Territory management, including sales planning and coverage;
  • Customer service activities, including proactively following up customer inquiries, product field support and tracking /recording issue resolution;
  • The preparation and accountability of realistic annual price objectives.

Technical Promotion Activities

  • Promote and create demand for existing McAsphalt products and applications and implement new products and technology for user agencies and contractors;
  • Present at technical forums promoting the use of McAsphalt products;
  • Provide technical expertise to user agencies and contractors for McAsphalt concerning new and existing product technology, specifications, problem solving, pavement preservation and value added road construction concepts.

Required Qualifications

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business, Engineering, Marketing
  • Experience in sales and marketing position;
  • Experience with Material Testing, Quality Control/Assurance;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word
  • Strong event planning experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in asphalt or a petroleum related industry would be an asset.
