A leading company in the asphalt industry is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their Contracts and Billing department. This 8-month contract role involves administrative accounting duties, ensuring accurate data entry and invoice processing. Candidates should have a post-secondary education in Business or Accounting and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Position SummaryThe Administrative Assistant, Contracts and Billing will be responsible for administrative accounting and clerical duties ensuring accurate data entry and processing of invoices and other logistics documentation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities• Excellent accounting administration and organization of documentation as part of a team focused on service and customer support.
• Review bills and invoices for potential errors and/or discrepancies.
• Perform month-end duties.
• Data entry into ERP software.
• Verify for the correctness of drivers’ paperwork in the dispatch system to ensure information is correct for billing.
• Create and maintain vendor records using our corporate ERP and records filing system.
• Other Administrative duties as required.
• Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company’s Code of Ethics.
