Job description

Infosys is seeking a Technical Architect. As a Maximo Infra Consultant, you will lead all technical phases of engagements related to IBM Maximo & MAS. Your responsibilities include:

1. Technical Architecture and Sizing (on-premises and cloud)
2. Database Migration and RedHat OpenShift Installation
3. Server Monitoring & Alert Configuration
4. Performance Analysis & Engineering
5. Integration Architecture & Technical Design for Maximo 7.6 / MAS 8 / 9

Preferred candidates will have experience with Utility, Asset Configuration Manager, or other Maximo Addons/Industry solutions. You will collaborate with client Enterprise & Technical Architects and the Infosys Offshore team to address non-functional requirements including Security & Compliance. Required Qualifications:

• Located within commuting distance of Waterloo, Ontario, or willing to relocate; travel may be required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or three years of progressive experience per year of education
• At least 4 years of IT experience
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visa

Preferred:

• 12+ years as a Maximo Technical Architect with domain experience in Rail, Transportation, Fleet Management, or Utilities
• Hands-on experience with:

• Maximo / MAS architecture, sizing, and implementation
• Database expertise (Oracle, SQL, DB2), including migration
• Maximo & related technology architecture, server configuration, MAS upgrades, OpenShift, performance tuning, and integration design
• Handling transformation programs and understanding of IT landscape
• Collaborating with stakeholders, supporting change management & testing, establishing KPIs
• Designing & implementing NFRs, Security, and Compliance
• Leading workshops and documenting architecture & NFR requirements
• Working with legacy systems and data migration leveraging MIF framework
• Supporting offshore teams in delivery and support
• Knowledge of Maximo Asset Management, Maximo Integration Framework, and Red Hat OpenShift
• Engagement in stakeholder communication and RFP solutionization; AI/GenAI exposure is advantageous

Other Skills:

• Experience in Enterprise Asset Management domains
• Agile project experience

The role involves extended computer work and communication via phone, email, or face-to-face. The estimated annual compensation in Ontario ranges from $89,004 to $103,042.
