**Sony Imageworks Vancouver is seeking Matte Painters!**
**Job Description:**
Under the guidance of the feature animation production Environment Supervisor or Matte Painting Lead, create digital matte paintings that meet creative direction using live action elements, still photography, concept art, rendered CG elements, and digital painted elements.
**Qualifications:**
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Maya, and Nuke is required.
- Knowledge of other tools such as Katana, Mari, Houdini, Speedtree, or Linux is a plus.
- Most desired: 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate; however, a minimal requirement of 2-3 years of relevant experience may be accepted.
**Salary Information:**
The anticipated base salary for an Associate position is $26.44 to $36.32/hr, and for an Intermediate position, it is $37.50 - $53.80/hr. Benefits are per company policy, which include healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, Sick and Vacation leave, and standard increases as applicable.
The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and, if applicable, the location of the position.
