About The Opportunity

• Outlier is looking for talented Math Reviewer Experts to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
• This freelance opportunity is remote with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever best suits you.

You may contribute your expertise by…

• Assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by other Math experts.
• Crafting and answering questions related to Math.
• Evaluating and ranking domain-specific responses generated by AI models.

Examples Of Desirable Expertise

• A bachelor's or higher degree in Math, Physics, or related subject requiring rigorous mathematics.
• Experience as a math teacher, tutor, teaching assistant, research assistant, or in curriculum development.
• Ability to write clearly about Math concepts in fluent English.
• Ability to review Math problems and solutions, and identify correctness or factuality issues.

Payment

• Current pay rates for core project work range from $30 to $50 USD per hour.
• Estimated Pay Rates Per Hour By Country:
• CAN: $40 to $69
• UK: £23 to £38
• AU: $45 to $75
• NZ: $50 to $83

Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, lower rates or incentives may apply. Please review the payment terms for each project.
