InnEd Academy (inned.ai) is a student-centred tutoring organization dedicated to helping Grade 1–12 students build confidence, curiosity, and academic success in math. We deliver high-quality, personalized online tutoring using engaging teaching strategies, active learning, and a focus on real growth. Founded on values like connection, purpose, and adaptability, for over 5 years, we’ve supported over 150 Canadian families and are committed to shaping the next generation of learners and leaders.

Position Summary

As a part-time contracted Math Tutor at InnEd Academy, you will work remotely and directly with students from Grades 1–12 to strengthen their mathematical understanding, boost their confidence, and foster a genuine curiosity for learning. You’ll deliver engaging small-group sessions using our curriculum and your own expertise, adapting to each student’s unique learning needs. You will be communicating with students and parents to ensure the student's learning plan stays on track. You will submit progress reports. Training will be provided.

Requirements

• *Committed to upholding high ethical standards and demonstrating integrity of character.*
• Current student / recent graduate from one of the following schools: University of Waterloo, University of Toronto, McGill, McMaster, and Queen's.
• Studying in a field related to math, science, engineering, software, business, or education.
• Selected recipients must complete their vulnerable sector check.
• Availability schedule: YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE 12 of the 20 hours from Monday-Friday, 4-8 PM EST.
• Digital devices, including devices to conduct live sessions and digital pads for writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging small-group online math sessions for students in Grades 1–12
• Prepare before each class using student materials or our curriculum
• Use active questioning, games, and real-world examples to teach concepts
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students and parents
• Track attendance, assign meaningful homework, and submit progress logs
• Foster student confidence, communication, and collaboration skills (the 3 C's)
• Maintain a professional online presence and punctuality
• Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to student growth

Compensation:

$22.50-30/hour based on tenure at InnEd Academy and paid biweekly.
