Brock University invites applications for Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator roles. Compensation is hourly, with undergrad rate at $23.30/hour and graduate rate at $36.67/hour, effective Sept 1, 2026.

Positions depend on enrolments and budget approvals; on-campus work is required where possible. Applicants should be near completion of a Mathematics degree, with strong math coursework and the ability to convey concepts to first-year science students.

Competenze

• Minimum of third year complete in a Mathematics program with an 'A' standing in Mathematics courses.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate the course content to first-year students in Science disciplines.

Mansioni

• Teach and assist with course components as per CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1 agreement.
• Provide scheduled student contact time and non-classroom duties including seminar prep, marking, examination proctoring, and office hours.
