Whytecliff Agile Learning Centres is seeking a dynamic, creative, and versatile Math & Science Teacher for Grades 8-12. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative, supportive learning community where your passion for hands-on, interdisciplinary, and real-world teaching can make a profound difference in the lives of young people.
About Us
Whytecliff is a BC Ministry of Education-accredited independent high school (Grades 8-12). Our welcoming, intimate campus feels more like an oversized home than a traditional school. With a close-knit team of 12 staff serving up to 56 students, we offer a caring, calm, and collaborative environment for young people with diverse learning needs, including anxiety, depression, ASD, dyslexia, and ADHD.
We integrate education with positive youth development, emphasizing mental health, social connections, and personal growth. Our strengths-based, person-centered approach has transformed many students' lives. One student recently shared, "Thank you for the best year of my life! I can't wait to come back!"
Each year, we introduce new opportunities aligned with students' gifts, strengths, and interests—like launching a hiking club with Outward Bound and integrating cross-curricular project-based learning to enhance engagement.
