EXP seeks a Materials Testing Technologist to join its St. John’s Earth and Environmental group. The role involves performing laboratory and field testing, and preparing detailed reports for project managers and engineers.

You will work across concrete, asphalt and soils testing, with opportunities to engage in geotechnical projects and travel Newfoundland and Labrador. Strong communication and data reporting are essential.

Competenze

• Civil Engineering technician/tech diploma; eligible for AETTNL registration.
• CCIL certification is an asset.
• Experience in materials lab and field testing.
• Knowledge of CCIL, ASTM and CSA testing methods.
• Willingness to travel across Newfoundland and Labrador.

Mansioni

• Perform laboratory materials testing (asphalt, concrete, soils) and field inspections as needed.
• Prepare clear laboratory and field inspection reports.
• Interact with clients to provide excellent service and quick testing responses.
• Ensure work aligns with EXP’s quality management standards.
