Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Materials Testing Lab Technician in Warman, SK. In this role, you will conduct essential laboratory testing services, focusing on aggregates, soils, and asphalt concrete. Responsibilities

• Completion of a full range of standard laboratory tests in aggregates, soils, and asphalt concrete.
• Travel to sites, collection of samples.
• Construction Quality control/Quality assurance laboratory testing (Aggregates, Soils, Asphalt).
• Inspection/calibration of lab equipment.
• Reporting: Required to regularly complete detailed laboratory reports and submit them to the laboratory supervisor.
• Support team operations and promote health and safety culture.

Your Opportunity

As a Materials Testing Lab Technician, the selected candidate will work closely with Stantec’s Transportation practice to perform laboratory testing services. Work for this role will primarily be conducted at our lab in Warman, SK.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Completion of a full range of standard laboratory tests in aggregates, soils, and asphalt concrete
• Travel to sites, collection of samples
• Construction Quality control/Quality assurance laboratory testing (Aggregates, Soils, Asphalt)
• Inspection/calibration of lab equipment
• Other general laboratory related duties
• Reporting: You will be required to regularly complete detailed laboratory reports and submit them to the laboratory supervisor.
• Operations: You will be expected to support team operations and play an integral part in the promotion of our health and safety culture, client relations, equipment and resources maintenance and management, and other related duties will be expected.
