Job summary

Metro Testing & Engineering is seeking Co-op Students for an 8-month term. The role involves field sampling and testing of concrete to CSA and ASTM specs, with emphasis on CCIL protocol compliance. You will report results, liaise with clients and site personnel, and troubleshoot real-time field issues.

Ideal candidates are independent, motivated, and capable of long hours in outdoor environments. Overtime and Saturdays may be required during peak season.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
• Available for Summer and Fall Term.
• Able to lift and control weights up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test concrete to CSA and ASTM specs in field.
• Maintain CCIL protocols and record/report results.
• Liaise with clients and site personnel.
• Troubleshoot real-time compliance issues in the field.
• Monitor noncompliance protocols.
