We have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System, supported by a talented technical team that has created a product with unique, customer-valued differentiators. We have established connections with key opinion leaders who are using the Globe System and sharing our story.

Having completed our pivotal clinical study, we are now focusing on regulatory approvals and a commercial launch. This milestone marks an exciting phase in our journey to bring this innovative technology to patients.

The Materials Handler is responsible for storing, moving, and staging materials, monitoring and replenishing POU inventory, ensuring accurate inventory transactions, and assisting with inventory cycle counts and variance reconciliation. The role primarily supports production. Success depends on timely responses, organization, and attention to detail.

Please note, this opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement in Burnaby, BC.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

Your responsibilities include:

  • Verifying identification, applying material ID labels, and ensuring correct storage of all materials
  • Ensuring accurate electronic transactions of materials and sub-assemblies and physically moving items between inventory locations
  • Proper cleaning and packaging of materials for cleanroom entry
  • Kitting and staging materials for production Work Orders
  • Closing Work Orders and reviewing/reconciling material scans
  • Monitoring and replenishing POU and Kanban inventory as needed
  • Providing materials handling support for non-production activities
  • Participating in inventory cycle counts and resolving discrepancies
  • Completing inventory tasks related to engineering changes accurately and promptly
  • Contributing to improvements in materials management systems and processes to reduce errors and enhance efficiency
  • Assisting with receipt and inspection of incoming shipments
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the team

You will succeed in this role if you possess:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in materials handling or inventory control
  • Highly motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex inventory records
  • Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Kanban)
  • Basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment is desirable
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule when required
  • Physical ability to lift/carry boxes up to 40 lbs (18 kg)

Compensation

Kardium offers a total cash compensation range of $24 - $28 CAD per hour (including 5% RRSP contribution). The actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and organizational needs. As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
