Job Description :Our client is looking for a Materials Coordinator to join their team.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Experience in Customer Service and/or Retail sales.
• Experience with computerized Inventory Management systems, such as entering waybills into internet-based platforms (e.g., Loomis, Purolator).
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with safe operation of material handling equipment, such as shrink wrappers, strappers, power pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, etc.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Shipping & Inventory Control experience in a warehouse setting, including inventory counting and reconciliation in a computer system.
• Experience conducting online sales (e.g., eBay, Kijiji, Marketplace).

Proven Experience In :

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, this position is responsible for administrative and operational duties related to warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, space management, and the appraisal of government assets declared surplus for disposal, ensuring proper accounting. This role includes customer service in sales and asset management, requiring customer service excellence. Additionally, the position involves ensuring government data on electronic storage devices is removed or destroyed.
