  • Coordinate inter-factory shipments and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Handle WIP job closures, warranty claims, vendor returns, and shop consumables issuance.
  • Perform receiving duties, cycle counts, quarterly counts, and purchasing support.

Engineered Air is searching for a Materials Coordinator to join the team within a fast‑paced environment. Working directly with the warehouse personnel, this position will be responsible for inventory cycle counts, ensuring accuracy in the warehouse using proven inventory processes. Engineered Air offers remuneration packages that include industry‑competitive salaries and benefits. This position is situated out of our Edmonton plant and reports to the Edmonton Plant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage production‑related parts transfers, backorders, addendums, and corrections.
  • Process incoming orders, surplus transfers, and special parts investigations.
  • Coordinate inter‑factory shipments and resolve inventory discrepancies, including negative inventory.
  • Handle WIP (Work in Process) job closures, warranty claims, vendor returns, and shop consumables issuance.
  • Perform receiving duties, cycle counts, quarterly counts, and general purchasing support (i.e., maintenance department requirements).
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 3 years of warehouse or material coordinator experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • High school or equivalent education.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of Engineered Air staff.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics SL or other ERP/MRP systems.
