Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented MRP Buyer to join our Supply Chain Management team. In this role you will be responsible for providing day-to-day material buying support to the Lloydminster Operations, Maintenance, and Turnaround teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials required for safe and efficient operations.

  • Location : Lloydminster, AB / SK
  • Shift : Monday to Friday
  • Job type : One year contract | Full-time

  • Responsibilities :

  • Execute and manage computerized material ordering and scheduling, fulfilling all material requirements (stock replenishment & work order demand). Execute urgent material requests from business unit.
  • Create & Maintain RFQ's to obtain price & delivery information from suppliers for non-contract materials. Ensure best value in terms of price, delivery, product quality, etc.
  • Maintain Source Lists in SAP to support streamlined MRP ordering process
  • Work with SSC to address price discrepancies, PO confirmations, GR / IR imbalances
  • Work with Inventory Technician to ensure prompt and accurate execution of MRP Collective List (Planned Order to Purchase Requisition conversion)
  • Work with Warehouse staff to ensure timely goods receipt of materials to meet requirements date and support internal KPI's (OTIF)
  • Deliver training as required to maintenance planners to ensure understanding of the integration points between PM and MRP
  • Qualifications :

  • Completion of a post-secondary certificate or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in supply chain operations
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management is an asset
  • Hands-on experience with SAP MM (Materials Management module)
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
