Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks across various engineering fields, focusing on metallics and chemical processes.
  • Lead R&D projects on environmentally compliant Materials & Processes, with knowledge of regulations like REACH.
  • Develop test plans, coordinate with labs, analyze results, and prepare reports.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and manufacturing sheets.
  • Collaborate with Production, Methods, Quality, and Logistics to resolve material and process issues.
  • Support process improvements and cost reduction initiatives, managing risks proactively.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 8-15 years of experience in aerospace/military production environments.
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards such as MIL specs, ASTM, ISO, SAE, and regulations like Federal standards.
  • Expertise in metallic materials, corrosion mechanisms, and manufacturing processes (machining, heat treatment, surface treatments).
  • Proficiency in engineering design review, problem-solving, and software tools like CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
