As a Material and Work Planner at Bombardier, reporting to the Leader Methods, you manage procurement activities, support supplier selection, and collaborate with teams to ensure efficient operations and project success within the Operations Challenger & Global Montreal division and the Tooling Shop department.

• Prepare orders for purchases of materials, equipment and other items
• Establish and maintain good commercial and contractual relationships with geographically dispersed strategic suppliers
• Support the team in the evaluation of the choice of supplier
• Identify, analyze and materialize cost reduction opportunities
• Provide support to various sites for purchase requests and ensure rigorous follow-up to minimize delays.
• Receive items and approve finance invoices
• Participate in project governance and maintain performance indicators for ordered materials.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams and support the integration of new tools into Bombardier's manufacturing system.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have experience in materials management or purchasing management
• You have experience or knowledge of SAP, Maximo and Ariba an asset
• You have the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings an asset
• You have a strong sense of ethics and are customer focused
• You have good analytical, planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential
• You can work in French and English (spoken and written)
