The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office tools. In this role, you will:
Perform Standard work related to MRP function and daily operation of the stores area.
Perform daily MRP controlling duties (replenishment of Safety Stock and the ordering of other parts and supplies to meet work order demand)
Maintain quantity of materials and appropriate safety stock levels of critical parts by managing inventory volume using Inventory Health Metrics, reviewing material shortage reports, assisting teams with inventory cycle counting, and performing inventory adjustments (LOST/FOUND), as well as monitoring quantity using the Material Master Data Maintenance (new material creation, material changes, etc.)
Assist with shutdowns by expediting parts, ensuring orders arrive on time, and communicating delivery date revisions, as well as following up on past due deliveries
Attend MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) monthly call
Attend and generate “delivery date” reports for Weekly Asset WO Meetings – based on when reports from planner is provided.
Coordinate emergency Stock Transfers to/from other mills.
Manage Refurbishments/Repairs (internal & external) and material creation
Create courier documents for shipments.
Create Import documents for exporting parts.
Support Stores Team.
Month end reporting as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1+ years of continuous work experience.
Capabilities with MS Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Have strong communications skills, written and oral.
Competent Computer Skills to work with Digital Technology Platforms and Enterprise Management Systems.
Ability to operate in an office and plant environment.
Must be comfortable in anindustrial work environment (noise, dust, moving equipment, fluctuating temperatures etc.) May include prolonged periods of sitting (on forklift), along with bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs., heights and confined spaces. PPE Requirements will include safety shoes, hearing protection and other appropriate PPE as designated.
May include extended periods of time sitting, standing, working on a computer and other digital systems.
Able to work 6:30am- 2:30pm and flex to business needs.
SAP and MRP experience an asset.

Starting Hourly Wage: $26.37 CAD

This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year. You’ll also enjoy a full benefits package. Please note that the stated pay rate applies to Canada locations only.
