Material Planner

Brandt is currently seeking a Material Planner for our Regina location.

Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, the Material Planner is responsible for ensuring all materials & components purchased from a supplier will be delivered according to the needs of the Daily Production Schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain inter-plant purchase orders for parts produced at other facilities.
• Establish the required materials and generate purchase orders.
• Confirm materials meet specifications, quality standards and are cost-effective.
• Ensure a consistent and acceptable supply of materials necessary for production.
• Coordinate with other departments concerning production targets, timelines, supplier payments, and so forth.
• Manage inventory stock issues such as schedule changes and cancellations.
• Track production volume to make required purchase adjustments to facilitate changes in demand.
