We are currently hiring a Material Planner for a well-established manufacturing company in Brantford. This role requires high attention to detail and experience with computers and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP/MRP (JDE), previous manufacturing industry experience, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Title: Material Planner
• Location: Brantford
• Shift: Days
• Pay rate: $24/hr

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports, including inventory levels
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, accounting, and customer service to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Create cycle counts from a set schedule, enter cycle data into ERP systems, and maintain documentation of the program
• Operate forklift
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an asset
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in scheduling or planning
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an asset
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
