A leading construction company in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Material Manager to oversee logistics and material management for large heavy construction projects. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in construction and possess strong leadership and vendor management skills. As a Material Manager, you provide leadership and management for large heavy construction projects. This position manages staff and craft employees and interacts with senior site management, equipment vendors, subcontractors and service providers. You must possess experience in both purchasing and material control, and must be able to travel and relocate for long-term and short-term field assignments. This position is operational in nature dealing significantly with field issues at active projects.

Our key objectives are to offer clients a world-class service focused on ensuring equipment, materials and services are consistently estimated and procured at the right price. This position may be based in either our Project Laydown / Materials Yard in North Vancouver, BC or at the Project Site Office located in Squamish or Coquitlam BC. Must be comfortable working directly at the job-site location on a rotation schedule if required. #LI-RP1
Compensation: $120,000 / yr - $147,000 / yr
