Job summary

Logistics in Motion Inc. is seeking an experienced MHE Operator for a temperature-controlled Winnipeg warehouse (0°C to 4°C). The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience with powered equipment and RF scanning.

You will build pallets, replenish locations, and document all activities while maintaining strict safety standards. The evening shift runs 9:30PM–6:00AM, Tuesday–Saturday, with starting pay of $19.69/hour and scheduled increases over 36 months.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Raymond Reach, Forklift, Walkie and Counter-Balance operator experience with safety track record.
• Experience using an RF scanner or RF handheld device.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move material through the facility.
• Build pallets and prepare products for customer orders.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced MHE Operator to join our team in a temperature-controlled warehouse (0°C to 4°C). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, including use of powered equipment such as forklifts and powered pallet jacks, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a Material Handling Equipment such as; Raymond Reach, Fork lift, Walkie, Counter Balance and to move material through the facility as required
• Work in a fast paced environment building pallets with product to be shipped to fill customer orders
• Moving pallet to correct locations by reading & scanning labels
• Ensure tasks get done on-time and accurately
• Scan product to pallet using an RF Handheld
• Provide materials to the picking line by physically moving them from stock points along the line, off trailers, and from other storage areas.
• Makes sure to replenish locations with the right product.
• Use RF guns to scan items/boxes used for replenishment
• Actively communicate with supervisors and colleagues to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
• Properly document work performed
• Assist in the effective completion of inventory audits
• Stacks pallets in designated areas. Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and place in proper containers or designated areas
• Demonstrate respect forthe organization’s values on a daily basis, while maintaining and upholding company policies & procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1-year warehouse experience operating material handling equipment
• Raymond Reach, Forklift, Walkie, Counter-Balance operator experience and certification with proven track record for safety
• Experience with a RF scanner

• Proven communication both written and verbal
• Must be capable of sitting, standing, lifting and walking for extended periods of time
• Service orientated with strong customer service skills and commitment to quality of work
• Good mathematical skills
• Able to lift, on average 50 lbs, repetitively and safely

• Strong team player, but also able to work effectively independently

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills – able to follow instructions
• Organized and shows strong attention to detail

• Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) would be a definite asset

• Some High School, preferably a High School Diploma

SHIFT & PAY RATE:

• $19.69 per hour to start with increases at 12 months (to $20.38 per hour), 24 months (to $20.99 per hour), and 36 months (to $26.49 per hour) of employment
• Evening Shift 9:30PM – 6:00AM Tuesday - Saturday
