Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, Quebec, is seeking a logistics/material handler to support our state-of-the-art manufacturing operations. The role requires a DEP in aerospace or logistics, 1–2 years of industrial experience, the ability to lift and move parts, operate forklifts, and work in a Windows environment; English is not required.

• Ability to drive a forklift and other industrial vehicle.
• This position is part of a French-speaking work environment and does not require any knowledge of English.

What will your daily life look like?

In a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, the sought-after candidates will be called upon to:

• Distribute material across all sectors of the plant
• Handle various objects, boxes, parts, carts with appropriate lifting equipment
• Receive, inspect, prepare, and issue all material
• Use computer transactions and software to accomplish their work
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Keep records up to date
• Drive various material handling vehicles
• Perform inventories as needed

The candidate will also be called upon to work in several workstations within the logistics team:

• Handling of parts, engines
• Receiving / shipping
• Packaging
• Storehouse

What you need to succeed
