Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Material Handler / Shipper / Receiver.

What You’ll Do

PRIMARY FUNCTION : Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, this position is responsible for all duties related to shipping and receiving. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently manage the receipt and storage of incoming materials, particularly steel parts. The ideal candidate will ensure that all materials are accurately documented, safely stored, and readily accessible for production needs.

This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations across Canada, comprising smaller assemble-to-order facilities that complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities.

Essential Functions

• Receive and inspect shipments, verifying against purchase orders and packing lists, and report discrepancies.
• Safely unload, move, and store materials, including steel, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain accurate records of received materials and notify the Team Lead of any discrepancies.
• Organize and store materials efficiently for easy access.
• Complete necessary paperwork and electronic records for shipments, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Adhere to safety protocols, report hazards or incidents.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and quality control teams for seamless operations.
• Promote Eaton’s goals and continuous improvement through teamwork.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

• Grade 12 diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid forklift license (electric counterbalance) with at least 1 year of operating experience.
• Reside within 80 km of Mississauga, Ontario; no relocation support.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
