Alliance Door Products is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator in Abbotsford. The role involves picking orders (doors and hardware), unloading inbound shipments, loading trucks, and performing inventory counts with a strong focus on accuracy.

Typical shift is Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the position, including RRSP and safety footwear support.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.

Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Position: Material Handler/Order Picker

Duties

This role is responsible for supporting our shipping and receiving department by picking orders (doors, hardware, door-related materials), unloading inbound shipments, loading customer trucks, performing inventory counts and handling doors and door related materials.

Shift

Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm

Compensation (depending on experience)

$21 to $23 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Forklift experience required
• Reach Truck Forklift experience preferred
• Hyster Forklift experience would be an asset
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull items up to 50 lbs., as well as maneuver items up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy to prevent errors in order fulfillment
• Basic math and counting skills for verifying quantities
• Good communication skills — verbal and written, for reporting issues or working with team members
• Prior door industry experience would be an asset
