Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions in Bolton, Ontario is seeking a motivated Material Handler to move materials and finished goods within the facility using hand trucks or by hand. Position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and requires lifting, walking, and operating RF scanners as needed.

The role offers day shifts from 7am to 3:30pm, a salary of 17.60 CAD per hour, paid vacation, and free parking, with opportunities for growth and advancement in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for 10–12 hours.
• Capable of lifting/pulling 50 lbs.
• Regular bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Walks extensive distances in the DC area.
• Able to work in variable noise, lighting, and temperature.
• Available for irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Move materials and finished goods manually or using a hand truck.
• Load finished product onto pallets or hand trucks.
• Stack pallets or skids in designated areas.
• Perform cleaning tasks to keep work area safe and organized.
• Operate RF scanners to pick and locate items and assist with repacking.

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for manually or by hand truck moving materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks. Position typically reports to the Warehouse Supervisor or Lead.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manually or using hand truck performs various material handling duties in the facility
• Manually loads finished product on pallet or hand truck
• Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas
• Provides cleaning services, as necessary, including sweeping floors, cleaning offices and removal of trash in proper containers or designated areas
• Performs other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean and organized
• Use RF scanners to pick and locate items, repacking duties

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Walking in the DC and around area with great frequency, facilities are over a quarter mile in length
• Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
