Position Overview : As a Material Handler in the new parts warehouse, you will be responsible for material movements within the facility, as well as shipping / receiving goods to / from other facilities. You will ensure all moves are made in a safe manner and are properly recorded / input into the warehouse management systems.

Job Description :

• Transport and distribute materials and goods
• Receive, pick and stock orders
• Effectively use warehousing software and systems to track movement of goods
• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
• Pack and unpack goods
• Install, lash, and secure goods
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety

Qualifications :

Minimum of 6 months experience in Wage Grade 1 or higher

Experience with Reach Truck, Narrow aisle, and Picker Truck preferred

Good time management and ability to prioritize demands

Effective written and spoken English communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision

Ability to lift and handle up to 40 pounds regularly

Basic computer / tablet skills; Microsoft Suite knowledge preferred

Preferred : Reach truck / forklift certification

Must pass fit testing and respirator fit requirements

Commitment to safety policies and procedures

Note :

Static afternoon shift : Monday – Thursday, 10 hours per day

Future shift changes subject to Collective Agreement terms

Hourly Rate : $24.72 - $35.02
