Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I in Vaughan, Ontario. This role involves performing warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

You will handle related paperwork and support the automated packing system during production shifts. The position requires basic knowledge of GMP (where applicable), the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a flexible schedule across shifts.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance measurement guidelines and maintain accuracy in picking/packing, totes, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production shifts.
