Job description

Pay Rate : $22 per hour + $1.30 per heavy premium

Shift : 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm

Location : 2450 Stanfield Road, Unit C, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1S2

Key Responsibilities :

• Safe and efficient movement of Product (including loading and unloading trucks).
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment potentially with a forklift.
• Label and prepare items for shipment.
• Work with Inventory Control on correct product placement.
• Perform daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedure.
• Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories.
• Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns.
• Participate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor and / or team lead.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices, and work instructions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Previous warehouse / manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift / move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment.
• Physical requirements include : lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time, ability to handle heights.
