Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with previous warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience preferred and must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds.

• Safely operate power-operated equipment and assist in loading/unloading trucks.

Job description

Pay Rate: $22 per hr + $1.30 per heavy premium

Shift: 9:00am to 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safe and efficient operation of all power-operated equipment that requires certification
2. Safe and efficient movement of Product (Including loading and unloading trucks)
3. Accurately pick and pack items for shipment potentially with a forklift
4. Label and prepare items for shipment
5. Work with Inventory Control on correct product placement
6. Perform daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedure
7. Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories
8. Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations
9. Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns
10. Participate in process improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team lead
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
12. Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices, and work instructions (ISO standards where applicable)
13. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic math and reading skills
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment
• Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time, ability to handle heights
