About The Position

Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Start Pay: $31.44 per hour, with increases after 90 and 180 days.

Shift: 6:00am to 6:00pm, 7 days on, 12 hours per day, then 7 days off.

Paid Training: 4 to 6 weeks in Edmonton before your assignment.

Location: After training, the incumbent will work at Fort Hills Camp for the shift as indicated above.

Essential Functions

• Warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handle paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Support automated packing systems during production hours

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform duties within contract performance guidelines
• Background checks such as MVR may be required for driving company vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned
